Chef's Assistant Quest, Improvements & Birthday Competition Winners: RuneScape Is Endeavouring To Explore The Infinite Possibilities

A few days ago, RuneScape was resuming a new quest which has been laid aside for eighteen years since it had been renowned as the very first quest in the RuneScape history in most players' memory. The quest is called Chef's Assistant. very similar to the original version "Cook's Assitant". The goal of completing this quest is making a top-secret cheesecake dessert with Head Chef so that it can be shown off at the next "Cooks Apprentices and Kitchen Experts Society" meeting. 

The quest is rather peaceful and lighthearted, compared with other types of quests involving in tons of mysteries-ready-to-be-solved process and relentless fights with villains. It doesn't need to wrestle with someone or something difficult or hard to be dealt with in the whole process, so, in terms of length and requirement of time, this Chef's Assistant quest is typically short and simple.

To make a top-secret cheesecake dessert as requested in the quest, you need to assist the big-beard slim Head Chef with mastering a new recipe. You are capable of making six different varieties of cheesecake desserts with prayer restore and healing effects. In addition to the Quest point, some cheesecake-themed post-quest content and a new achievement are also available. 

Other than starting over a cooking-themed quest, RuneScape also rolled out plenty of quest improvements that are mostly in favor of developers' work. But it doesn't indicate that there are a lot fewer noticeable changes for RuneScape players and quest fanatics. Actually, there are some major improvements added in the game that quietly fascinating and refreshing, here is the list:

• Better quest sorting and filtering (including by starting area, release date, and combat difficulty)

• More information on the quest overview screen
• ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ buttons on the Quest Journal
• Improvements to the ‘While Guthix Sleeps’ and ‘Children of Mah’ quests
