Madden 19 Path To The Draft: New Cam Newton LTD, House Rules In Ultimate Team
The Madden 19 Path to the Draft promotion moves on! We’re now into April, with the NFL Draft just weeks away. When that goes down, NFL teams will look to upgrade their team rosters. Meanwhile, in Madden Ultimate Team mode, gamers are doing the same with the various Path to the Draft cards or events. Among the latest arrivals for the promotion are a sweet Cam Newton LTD card and some brand new house rules to play with.
Madden 19 Path to the Draft Cam Newton LTD Card
When Madden’s Path to the Draft event launched, gamers knew it would bring some of the top stars in the game with it. The Carolina Panthers made Cam Newton their No. 1 NFL draft choice what feels like many seasons ago. It was 2011, and since then, he’s led the team to several playoff appearances and to the Super Bowl. In addition to that and three Pro Bowl selections, Cam also captured the 2015 NFL MVP Award based on his outstanding season then.
It makes perfect sense that he’d be amongst the latest 99 OVR LTD cards to drop for Madden Path to the Draft. The 6-foot-5 quarterback’s key attributes include a 99 Throw Power, 98 Throw Under Pressure, and 96 Throw on the Run. His speed may not impress too many gamers, but his other skills in the 90s certainly help on this LTD card with Power-Up potential. Newton joins other 99 Path to the Draft cards for Bruce Smith and Keyshawn Johnson.
Madden 19 Path to the Draft House Rules
In addition to that great Cam LTD MUT card, gamers are now playing under new House Rules. The latest theme is called “Play Stock” and features a number of aspects excluded from what gamers are used to. They’ve now taken away audibles, hot routes, and defensive pre-play movement from the games in this head-to-head scenarios.
Madden Ultimate Team tweeted out there were some issues with making the House Rules event live. However, it’s since started up and they extended the time period it will remain active for.
Some will love trying to win games this way and others might hate it. Either way, the new “Play Stock” House Rules are only in effect for a limited time. They’ll officially end on Thursday (Apr. 3) at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
